Nike and the Inter Milan Club jointly announced the team's new second away jersey in the 2019-20 season.
Inter Milan will once again appear on the stage of the highest level of European football this season, this jersey will combine Inter Milan's iconic design elements in the 1997-98 and 2009-10 two seasons jerseys. In those two seasons, the "Blue and Black Army" eventually won the European Championship. In addition to these nostalgic elements, the design concept of the jersey also absorbed the jersey culture of the 1990s, and commemorated the long-term relationship between Inter Milan and the shirt sponsor Pirelli, which can be traced back to 1995.
The 1997-98 jersey of Brazilian legend Ronaldo has a particularly strong influence. The new jersey has returned to the black tone, and the bright yellow decoration and details add a stylish vibrancy. At the same time, the jersey has a round neck design, which is consistent with the team's unprecedented jersey design in the 2009-10 season.
Pete Hoppins, senior design director of Nike football clothing, said: "Black and yellow are always a successful combination. Inter Milan's second away jersey looks vibrant. We have two special old jerseys. Inspired by the harvest, and given the theme of the 1990s that is now re-popular on the streets, we hope to use this jersey to attract the attention of all fans."
The vintage Nike Futura logo, all-black matt fabric with flat jacquard pattern, club badge and "Inter" lettering cleverly emerge from the fabric, these elements make this jersey full of the atmosphere of the 1990s. The yellow trim on the collar and cuffs perfectly complements the jersey, while the sponsor's logo is based on the elements of the motorsport world.
The jersey is fitted with black shorts and socks, accompanied by a dazzling yellow decoration and a vintage Nike logo.
